33rd annual Jingle Bell Run and Walk for the Arthritis Foundation. 9 a.m., Sunday, Dec. 3, main campus, Kankakee Community College. 5k Run. 5k Competitive Walk. The competitive walk is back. Fun walk. Also a Jingle in the Water at the Kankakee YMCA, Sunday, Nov. 19, 1-2 p.m.
Register online at JBR.org/Kankakee. Or register race day at 8 a.m. Also, packet pickup and additional registration, Saturday, Dec. 2, 2-6 p.m. at the Iroquois Room, KCC. To Jingle in the Water, call Darlene Cipcich at 815-351-0822.
Donated refreshments include pizza from Chicago Dough, hot chocolate from Oberweis, Pepsi Sport Drink, water from Culligan, bananas from Jewel, soup from Bennett-Curtis House.
Costume contest. Ugly Christmas sweater contest. Donated prizes. Race is staffed by volunteers from local high schools.
Medals to all finishers. Shirts. Goody bags.
