O'Hare International Airport is 75 miles north of Kankakee County, and Midway Airport is 50 miles north. The Greater Kankakee airport is also available for personal aircraft landing space.

We invite the entire community to Good Shepherd Manor's 1st Annual Touch A Truck event! This event is FREE! There are opportunities for exploration and there will be demonstrations as well. Some of our community partners that will be at this event are: Momence Fire Department, Cordes Brothers Towing, City of Momence Streets + Alley, Hoekstra Trucking, Bob Dennis- Farming, Homewood Disposal and more! We will continue to update with additional partners on our website. We will also have a variety of food trucks available for food purchases but the event is FREE.
