Scenic Trails

June 3rd is #nationaltrailsday, so we've compiled a list of 6 trails for you to enjoy when you visit Kankakee County!

1. Perry Farm Trails
   Five miles of paved trails take you throughout the park and along the Kankakee River.
2. Riverfront Park
   This trail is a loop of approximately ¼ mile, so you can do as many laps as your heart desires while you take in the breathtaking views of the Kankakee River. Bonus: stop along the way to take part in the fitness course challenges.
3. Willowhaven Park and Nature Center
   Not only can you enjoy the hiking trail of 1+ miles, there’s also a playground, 9 hole disc golf course, fishing overlooks, and more!
4. Kankakee River State Park
   Trek on over 10 miles of trails that run along the Kankakee River through the State Park. Trails start and end in the park.
5. Riverfront Trailways
   Enjoy more than 10 miles of trail on bike or foot that winds from the southern to western edge of the county along the Kankakee River.
6. Limestone Park
   Enjoy this 1.2 mile trail nestled in the woods and made of crushed limestone.
