Kick off the 4th of July holiday on Tuesday evening July 2nd as On the Rox and The Currents of Kankakee host a fundraiser concert featuring Merchant Street MusicFest favorites Ha Ha Tonka and Todd Hazelrigg. This concert will be on the deck stage overlooking the beautiful Kankakee! Join us for an evening of spirited music that flows like the river. Event opens: 6:00 pm Opening Remarks and Riverwalk update: 6:15 pm Todd Hazelrigg: 6:30 Ha Ha Tonka: 7:00 All proceeds go to support the Kankakee Riverfront Society, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, for the creation of The Currents of Kankakee Riverwalk. The suggested donation is $20 (give more or give less… it’s ok). Admission will include one free beverage and appetizers. There are also event sponsorships available as well.
