Start your Independence Day weekend off right! Kankakee Community College is THE place to be for music, fireworks and family-friendly fun. Gates open at 4pm, along with food vendors including Jimmy Jo's BBQ, Martinez Tacos, Oberweis Ice Cream and KVSO concessions. Music performances by the Kankakee Vally Symphony Orchestra begin at 6pm, fireworks at dusk around 9:15pm. Admission is $20/carload. Event hosted by KVSO in conjunction with KVYSO, KVPD and KCC.
