2. Jaenicke's Root Beer Stand (390 E. River St., Kankakee) or Jaenicke's Drive In (605 Armour Rd., Bourbonnais) This iconic KaCo eatery provides a casual outdoor dining experience as you enjoy a red hot, sauce bun with cheese, fried pickles...we could list our faves ALL day long!
3. Jimmy Jo's BBQ (665 N. Convent, Bourbonnais) You get a full slab of ribs and the kids can order off of the kids' menu! Either way, be sure both of you grab their fresh made BBQ sauces.
4. Kansai Japanese Steakhouse (1600 N. State Route 50, Bourbonnais / Inside Northfield Square Mall) It's like dinner AND entertainment as you sit grill-side with your fam! They even have a Little Ninja menu for the kiddos.
5. La Siesta (180 S. Kennedy Dr., Bradley) Authentic Mexican food that the whole family will love! Their chips and salsa are crave-worthy, too!
6. Monical’s Pizza (597 William R. Latham Senior Dr., Bourbonnais / 1155 W. Court St., Kankakee / 199 Southcreek Dr., Manteno) This is a local favorite and the place where people always come back to when they're in town! Be sure to order a side of their sweet & tart dressing for dipping - trust us.
